そこで、Webアプリの“機能”を“ツール”としてAIエージェントにもわかりやすい形で公開できるようにするのが「WebMCP」だ。ツールはJavaScriptの関数か、HTMLの<form>要素で登録でき、既存のフロントエンドのコードを再利用しやすいように配慮されている。人間が使うことを考えたフロントエンドをそのまま、エージェントからも利用しやすくできるわけだ。
